    Honest review about Tiger Sugar

New milk tea shops are all over, some are appearing like mushrooms overnight. But, are they all worth the hype? Here’s my honest review about Tiger Sugar.

  • Ang Huling El Bimbo The Musical

I was moved that I had to listen to the songs again so I can relive the story and aptly write a review of Ang Huling El Bimbo The Musical without dishing big spoilers. It was probably in 1996 and I was just five years old when my eldest brother came home from school and he brought a storybook called “Fruitcake”, which he took great care of as if his life depended on it. That was my first encounter with the band called Eraserheads. I am the youngest of five siblings and my oldest siblings’ music unconsciously became mine (because, technically, I don’t have a say on what radio station to…

  • Shopping Spree in the Taytay Tiangge

Two of my friends have been gushing over their shopping spree experience in the Taytay Tiangge. They have been bragging about how colossal the Tiangge is and how insanely cheap the finds are. I asked them, “cheap as in Divisoria/ Greenhills/ St. Francis Square/ Baclaran kind of bargain?” They said, “No! Let’s go there and see for yourself.”

  • Fantasy World in Batangas

If there is one thing that I really enjoy about a joyride, aside from me just sitting pretty, is seeing an unfamiliar place which can be reached for just a couple of hours. So, I was excited about last week’s trip to the Fantasy World in Batangas.

    GrabBae for the #KiligForEveryone

I was torn between booking for a Grab Car or a Share this morning but I ended up it availing the latter. When I got into the car, there was already a guy, whom I thought the person I was sharing the ride with, sitting. He greeted me and introduced himself. Apparently, he’s a GrabBae for the #KiligForEveryone. He discussed further that a Bae is randomly assigned to a driver/ car and its passengers (limited to 10 per day and for Grab Share only) will be in for a treat!

    Sizzling Plate Session Road

If you are ever in the chilly Baguio City and you are looking for affordable food that would warm you up, I recommend the Sizzling Plate Session Road, aside from the good ol’ Good Taste. It is a budget-friendly steakhouse located in the bustling Session Road. It has three other branches and notably one of which is at SM Baguio.

Affordable Airbnb place in Baguio City

To stay in an affordable Airbnb place in Baguio was the best bet than to check into a hotel. Thankfully, I was able to score for one and this is my first experience, so I thought I might as well write a review about it.

  • Surviving the Wisdom Teeth Extraction

    Surviving the Wisdom Teeth Extraction

Surviving the wisdom teeth extraction is one of the toughest things that some unlucky human beings dread but bloody need to do. Five years ago, I had a panoramic x-ray and my dentist told me that I have impacted wisdom teeth which need to be removed. I didn’t feel any pain and it was very costly for me at that time, so I told her I’ll save up first for that. That never really happened until this month.
