Condura Refrigerator CSD500MN [Review + Buy online]
After almost two months of using our new fridge, here is my review for the Condura Refrigerator CSD500MN.
In this previous post, I shared how our Fujidenzo refrigerator stopped working and how our experience with their service center went. After they gave the Php 3,800 back to me, we decided to buy a new refrigerator, any brand but Fujidenzo, in a middle of an Enhanced Community Quarantine last April. We were not sure if appliance centers were opened that time in malls, so we went online shopping. Actually, that was the first time that I ever bought an appliance online because I’m more comfortable buying it from physical stores and, I don’t know, maybe I have trust issues, in general. Lol. Anyhow, we went ahead and ordered our new fridge from Abenson Online.
Ordering from their website is fairly easy. Before you can place the items you added to your cart as an order, you will be prompted by the system to register an account or to log in if you already have an existing account. The shipping method will be auto-populated by the system based on the delivery address you inputted. You may also add special instructions like if there will be an authorized receiver, or if a gate pass is needed, or if a medical certificate is required, or others. You will also be required to select a payment method and you can choose a promotion like shop-now pay-later of some major banks (you can only select this if you have a credit card issued by any of the listed banks). Once all the required fields are answered, the system will show your order summary and when you’re ready, hit the “Place Order” button.
We bought the Condura Refrigerator CSD500MN. Its dimension is 56.2 × 51.9 × 115.5 cm and its capacity is 5.8. cubic feet. This refrigerator is a single-door type and has a manual defrosting system. Furthermore, it has an R600a or an eco-friendly refrigerant. The warranty includes 3 months for plastic parts, 3 years for system parts, 3 years for labor, and 5 years for the compressor. The wire shelves, ice tray, egg rack, and ice scraper are included in the box. This unit has a slim body, silver finish, and a hidden handle.
I personally think that this fridge is huge and spacious, but has a total dimension that is just right for a small apartment, its freezer is, likewise, roomy, though its door is plastic, its shelves are adjustable, it also has a chiller that is just below the freezer, and its light is LED, although it does not turn off when the door is closed.
One drawback that I always complain about this unit is the level of difficulty when opening its single door, but aside from that, I’m very satisfied with the Condura Refrigerator CSD500MN. While Abenson mentioned on their page that this model’s estimated power consumption is 0.52 kWh per 24 hours, I just couldn’t confirm it yet.
Abenson delivered the unit to our place two days after we placed the order. However, during the first few hours of usage, we had a problem with the temperature control knob. I immediately coordinated it with Abenson’s after-sales team through Viber. They were accommodating and they immediately forwarded our concerns to Condura. The Condura team was also prompt in sending their representatives to our place to check the unit.
I’m pretty pleased with my overall online shopping experience with Abenson. This particular model of the Condura refrigerator is also available in other online stores like Anson’s.
