Luljetta’s Hanging Gardens Spa

How come that this piece was sitting on my drafts for so long? Anyway, in November last year, when most of the cities were still in General Community Quarantine, we went to Luljetta’s Hanging Gardens Spa in Antipolo Rizal.

They claim that the Luljetta’s Hanging Gardens Spa is “the first and only Hanging Gardens Spa in the Philippines”. It is located in a mountain resort in Antipolo. I have never been to Bali, but this place gave me the Bali-vibes I often see on Instagram. They mentioned on their website that their furniture and fixture are all sourced from all over the Philippines.

We availed of their morning tour package 1, which is from 9 AM to 2PM, just to break the everyday monotony. I also felt that I was not ready yet to spend a night in a room that was previously occupied by random people who could be virus-carriers or not, only God knows!

Package 1 costs Php 1,150 per head. The day tour gave us access to their hanging garden facilities such as the locker, sauna, heated jacuzzi, hydro-massage pool, infinity pool, meditation lounges, and Dr. Fish spa. It also includes snacks and welcome drinks. They also have Package 2 which is priced at Php 1,750 per head, inclusive of the Php 600 worth of food consumables.

We went there on a Friday to avoid crowds, but boy was I wrong. We were still, probably, with five or six other groups. We would discreetly race on against the other groups to the pools.

To be honest, they do not have the best facilities, but, gee, its views of the Manila skyline and Laguna Lake are sights to behold and are just spectacular.

This is the closest I can get to nature—swimming under the branches of trees!

But the two things I like the most about our visit to the Luljetta’s Hanging Gardens Spa was first, their Suman (grand-slam!) for our snacks; and the second was their infinity pool! It was a home run and we had it all to ourselves for a couple of hours!
