Ways to Help the Victims of Typhoons Rolly and Ulysses

Here are some of the ways to help the victims of typhoons Rolly and Ulysses in the Philippines. I am hoping that this post will reach as many people as possible.

In less than a month, five typhoons have caused so much devastation in the Philippines, particularly in the Bicol Region, in the middle of a pandemic! Typhoons Rolly and Ulysses, with international names Goni and Vamco, were extremely powerful that it took lives and made some Filipinos homeless. Photos of massive destruction are all over the internet and they are all heartbreaking.

Just when I think 2020 can’t get any worse, it can.

I want to use this small platform to send a message across to my readers that the Philippines needs your assistance. A small amount, or unused/ old clothes, or other in-kind donations will go a long way.

I compiled some of the ways to help the victims of typhoons Rolly and Ulysses. If you have the means, you can give your donations through some of the reliable organizations and groups that currently hold relief initiatives:

Let’s help them to get through this difficult time, to rebuild their houses, and to start again.

Everybody can be great. Because anybody can serve. You don’t have to have a college degree to serve. You don’t have to make your subject and your verb agree to serve…. You don’t have to know the second theory of thermodynamics in physics to serve. You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love. –  Martin Luther King, Jr.
