Piel Flawless Face Set Review

I have been using the Piel Beauty and Health Flawless Face Set for one month now and here’s my review of the products.

Before I bought the products, I searched all over the internet for the Piel Flawless Face Set reviews, but I found none. The only comments I relied on are the ones on their Facebook page and their website, some of them are the following:

Morning glow ✨ the result of Be Flawless Face Set. I don’t have to wear makeup and can just show-off my skin anytime!” – Princess

100% Make-up free thanks to Be Flawless Face Set by Piel 😍” – Francyne

My face is so clear after one month of use 🤩 on to stay flawless face set!” – Poppy

My favorite has always been the sunblock gel! It doesn’t clog your pores and gives that porcelain skin look 😍” – KC

Korean Glass Skin ✨ ACHIEVED 😍” – Kyra V

According to their website, Piel Beauty and Health is a skincare and nourishment brand that commits to providing quality and effective products. They are primarily based in Davao and they claimed that their products are FDA-approved. As due diligence, I verified this information, and I found their e-License to Operate (LTO) from the FDA site.

With all this information, I went ahead and purchased the set. Upon using it for four weeks, I thought I have to share my review on the Piel Beauty and Health Flawless Face Set.

The set has five products, namely (1) Oatmeal Facial Cleanser 100ml, (2) Deep Exfoliant Toner 50ml, (3) Restorative Day Cream 10g, (4) Skin Refining Night Gel 10g, and (5) Hydration Protect Sunblock Gel 10g.

This is the complete set. (Photo is from Piel Beauty and Health’s Facebook page)

This is the part that I had a hard time digging for, thus I bought it without knowing what’s really in it. The info is neither available on their Facebook page nor on their website. So, for the ingredients-conscious people, here you go (you’re welcome 😉).

Oatmeal Facial Cleanser Water, Cetyl Alcohol, Glyceryl Monostearate, Cyclomethicone, Polydecene, Carbomer, Avena Sativa (Oat) Bran, Propylene Glycol, Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Leaf Oil, Salicyclic Acid, Niacinamide, Arctostaphylos Uva-Ursi Leaf Extract, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Tetrasodium EDTA, and DMDM Hydantoin.
Deep Exfoliant Toner Water, Ethyl Alcohol, Propylene Glycol, Glycerin, Ascorbic Acid, Triethanolamine, and DMDM Hydantoin.
Restorative Day Cream Water, Carbopol, Glycerin, Triethanolamine, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Octyl Methoxycinnamate, Tetrasodium EDTA, and DMDM Hydantoin.
Skin Refining Night Gel Water, Carbomer, Propylene Glycol, Glycerin, Virgin Coconut Oil, Kojic Acid, Ascorbic Acid, and DMDM Hydantoin.
Hydration Protect Sunblock Gel Water, Carbomer, Propylene Glycol, Glycerin, Virgin Coconut Oil, Octyl Methoxycinnamate, and DMDM Hydantoin.

I am not a skin expert or a dermatologist but based on my research, these ingredients are pretty decent.

  1. Cleanse face with Oatmeal Facial Wash.
  2. Apply a pea-sized amount of Restorative Day Cream all over the face.
  3. Apply Hydration Protect Sunblock Gel 15 mins before leaving your home. Reapply every 3-4 hours for maximum protection.

  1. Cleanse face with Oatmeal Facial Wash.
  2. Apply Deep Exfoliant Toner circularly all over the face. Do not rub hard.
  3. Apply Skin Refining Night Gel after.

They claim that these products do the following:

Oatmeal Facial Cleanser Nourishing, a natural exfoliant, removes dirt and oil, softens skin texture, and reduces pores.
Deep Exfoliant Toner Exfoliating, anti-acne, and anti-blemish.
Restorative Day Cream Locks in moisture, reduces pores, youthful glow, and skin lightening.
Skin Refining Night Gel Micro-peeling, skin lightening, anti-acne, pigmentation lightening, and blemish reduction.
Hydration Protect Sunblock Gel UVA/UVB Protection, glass-skin effect, and skin-nourishing.

The Oatmeal Facial Cleanser feels as if you are rubbing soggy oatmeal (understandably) to your face and it smells good, like oatmeal! The Deep Exfoliant Toner and Skin Refining Night Gel both have a medicinal scent, while the Restorative Day Cream has a neutral smell. The Hydration Protect Sunblock Gel feels and smells menthol-ish.

The combination of Deep Exfoliant Toner and Skin Refining Night Gel at night feels buttery. It is as if that every inch of my face is coated with a greasy slickness. In contrast, my face has no problem absorbing the Restorative Day Cream fast.

The “Korean Glass Skin” effect comes from the Hydration Protect Sunblock Gel. It makes your face slick as if you have a Korean gene. But it does not look good if you have bumps all over!

I did not notice any difference on my face during the first week. The micro-peeling started in the second week but it only lasted for a few days. My (pre-existing) zits on my forehead would be cleared but it would come back after a couple of days. Thankfully, I did not have new bad pimples, but I observed that many blackheads and whiteheads surfaced (Yikes!)—some sort of purging, I think. Anyway, I had to zap them all away.

For 30 days of using this set, there were no noticeable changes on my face. My blemishes and pimple marks are not that lightened, my bumps are not cleared, and my pores are still not half as small as Yoon Seri’s 😭. My T-zone becomes oilier also. But a noteworthy silver lining in all of these is I did not have a terrible break-out! Hooray!

I have passed the 30-day mark and I have completely consumed the toner, but I still have some more of the other products. I do not know if I will continue using it. I might until I have used everything up? Or I might not? People have been raving about this set, but I cannot get where they are coming from…yet😭. The “What works for me may not work for you” adage hit me hard on this. Just for the record, my skin is a combination type.

My experience is obviously not universal. Your skin may respond differently from mine, and what did not work for me may work for you. Given this Piel Flawless Face Set Review and the pieces of information I shared, I hope you can do an informed decision whether to buy or not to buy. But, if your mind, heart, and soul are all set to getting it, by all means, please do so. 😊

For other details, you may check their Facebook page and you may buy this set from their website. It is currently valued at 1,700 and the shipping fee is free.
